The 37 year-old American Tenins star Venus Williams expressed her 'deepest condolences' after the car crash in Florida
The Tennis star was at fault for the accident in Florida which left a 78-year-old man with fatal injuries, according to a police report.
Police reports said the 37-year-old was “at fault for violating the right of way” of the other driver, reports TMZ reports.
Williams has spoken out after the revelation and called the incident an “unfortunate accident”.

Williams’ car was T-boned by the SUV driven by the wife of Mr Barson, who was travelling the vehicle as a passenger.
The incident happened at an intersection in Palm Beach Gardens, California.
Williams car darted into the intersection and there was no time for the other vehicle to stop in the incident on June 9.
Mr Barson died two weeks after suffering head trauma, while his wife was left with broken bones.
“Ms Williams entered the intersection on a green light,” her lawyer Malcolm Cunningham said.
He went on; “The police report estimates that Ms Williams was travelling at 5 mph (8km/h) when Mr Barson crashed into her.
"Authorities did not issue Ms Williams with any citations or traffic violations.
“This is an unfortunate accident and Venus expresses her deepest condolences to the family who lost a loved one.”
There was no evidence Williams was under the influence of drugs or alcohol or distracted by a mobile phone, TMZ reports.
Williams is expected to play in Wimbledon next week.
